Khurram Murad lecture series aims to enlighten students and research scholars with the teachings, philosophies, and ideologies of this great Islamic scholar and writer. He played a key role in the character-building of youngsters and his preaching practices helped in the promotion of Islam in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
After passing the matriculation examination, he took admission in the Hameediyah College, Bhopal.
1948
His family decided to move to Pakistan.
1952
He received the Civil Engineering Degree from University of Karachi
1958
He completed his Masters degree from the University of Minnesota, USA.
1971
He was a prisoner of war for many years in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani war.
1976 - 87
He worked as the Director General Islamic Foundation, UK
1975 - 76
He led the engineering teams for the initial design and electrification of the extension of the Masjid al-Haram – the holiest place for the Muslims.
1996
He wrote his famous book “Lamhaat” (Moments). His key aim in this book was to transfer the key lessons from his life and experience to the next generation of Islamic workers.
He wrote 15 books in Urdu and 30 books in English
He was the Editor of The Muslim World Book Review from England
He also worked as the Editor of Tarjuman-ul-Quran, monthly Lahore
